Baghdad – The South Oil Company said on Monday that oil exports from Iraq’s southern fields will reach about 3.25 million barrels per day in 2016.

The company’s chief Hayan Abdul Ghani Abdul-Zahra said in an interview to “Reuters”, followed by IraqiNews.com that “oil exports from the south of the country will see a modest growth to 3.25 million barrels per day 2016, “explaining that” the country is facing difficulty in increasing production. ”

Exports from Basra port in the south in August totaled 3,021 million barrels per day, according to the latest available data.
