Embassy of Iraq and House Brazil Iraq celebrate Mosul’s release

CCIBI - 26/07/2017

The Embassy of Iraq with the support of the Brazil Iraq Chamber celebrated the liberation of the city of Mosul in the hands of the rebels of the Islamic State. The ambassadors of Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Slovakia and Cameroon, as well as Brazilian officials and also the second Counselor of Mauritania, attended the cocktail.

The event recalled the important role of the Iraqi people and their government, which together, without any distinction of creed or ethnicity, acted in an organized and determined manner by the resumption of the city. The expulsion of the Islamic state from Mosul is a victory of civilization over barbarism.
